Mark VII Announces a New CEO

November 29, 2006 – Arvada, Colorado – Mark VII Equipment Inc., the US subsidiary of WashTec AG of Germany, the leading supplier of vehicle cleaning systems worldwide, today announced the hiring of Murray Kennedy as its President and Chief Executive Officer. He replaces Christian Bernert, who will become CFO of WashTec AG effective January 1, 2007.

Kennedy joins Mark VII from Richardson Electronics, Ltd., where during his twelve year tenure he held the position of Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Electron Device Group and of the Industrial Power Group. His prior experience includes management positions with Litton Electron Devices Group and ITT Electron Devices Division.

“I’m thrilled that we found someone of Murray’s caliber to run our US organization,” said Thorsten Krueger, spokesman of the board of WashTec AG. “Christian has done a great job of managing the transition and integration process since WashTec acquired Mark VII earlier this year. With Murray’s engineering background and depth of management experience in a manufacturing environment, he’s the ideal choice for leading the company going forward.”

“I’m excited about joining the Mark VII team,” said Kennedy. “This company helped pioneer the automatic car wash industry and has been a consistent innovator in cleaning technology for several decades. Backed by the resources of WashTec as the largest and most innovative provider of car wash solutions worldwide, my goal is to steer Mark VII toward becoming the leading force in car washing throughout North America.”
