Mark VII Launches AquaJet GTO® Touch-Free
Rollovers in EuropeSeptember 12, 2006 – Frankfurt,
Germany – Mark VII Equipment Inc., the US subsidiary of WashTec AG
of Germany, the world’s leading supplier of vehicle cleaning
systems, today announced the availability of CE-approved versions of
its AquaJet GTO-300 and AquaJet GTO-700 automatic carwash systems
here at the Automechanika trade fair.
The AquaJet GTO incorporates the latest in touch-free cleaning
technology, such as HubScrub®, Mark VII’s unique wheel scrub system
that solves the number one complaint among touch-free customers –
dirty wheels. Other options include two-step presoak, BugBuster™, a
merchandising sign package, and AquaDri® on-board or freestanding
dryers. The AquaJet GTO-300 matches the throughput needs of sites
with industry-standard wash volumes, where the AquaJet GTO-700 is
optimized for high-volume sites requiring maximum throughput.
“Until recently, Europe has been primarily a friction carwash
market,” said Thorstens Krueger, CEO of WashTec AG. “But we’re
seeing rising interest in touch-free systems from our subsidiaries
and dealers. WashTec’s acquisition of Mark VII earlier this year
gives us access to the best technology in the touch-free market, so
we’re bringing it across the Atlantic to expand our product offering
in Europe.”
“Just as Mark VII has profited from demand for friction systems
in the US by selling WashTec’s superior friction technology here,
WashTec can leverage the growing interest in touch-free systems in
Europe by selling Mark VII’s technology there,” adds Christian
Bernert, CEO of Mark VII. “In both cases the customer wins by
gaining access to the best carwash technology available without
having to rely on less capable products from local market
manufacturers.”
